Kids’ Wardrobe Staples From Nununu’s AW17 Collection!

If you’re looking for cute teddy bears or magical fairies, you’ve come to the wrong place! – Nununu

Whenever we find ourselves in Edinburgh we like to spend a lazy Sunday morning over at the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop at Cafe Milk. Surrounded by industrial creativity, it’s not often you find a cool breakfast spot that’s also child-friendly. With it only being a short trip I decided to pack light for the boys, bringing with us only a few staple pieces from Nununu’s AW collection. Their easy-to-wear clothing has endless combinations making every outfit unique and most importantly super comfortable whatever the weather!

This season we’re loving the latest colourways from your statement blacks, whites and assorted greys to the new dyed colours featuring powder pinks and dirty blues! The latter is inspired by industrial workwear, which you can see in the denim range, overalls and distressed sweaters. I love how the fitted tops such as this deconstructed jumper and 2 length t-shirt look with Nununu’s must-have star baggy pants – not only are these bottoms amazingly soft but they are the perfect starting point for any outfit. They’re that good my boys each have a pair!

We also couldn’t resist finally testing out one of Nununu’s most popular unisex pieces from their basics collection: the ninja hoodie! With holes for little thumbs, it has the ability to transform from a regular hoodie to a real ninja look when you pull the cosy fabric up. It’s one of those rare pieces that truly allows kids to be kids, encouraging them to embrace their imagination whilst being built to last no matter how many washes. Safe to say our boys plan to be ninjas this Halloween and probably right through to Christmas!

*A huge thank you to the wonderful Nununu for sending us these samples to style. As always all opinions are our own, we’d never recommend anything we don’t love or wouldn’t buy ourselves.
