Craft Wolf Club Monthly Subscription Box

Wolf’s Craft Club | Chalk Kids Blog

We were so happy to receive a Craft Club Kit box from Molly & The Wolf. The Children, happy to receive post, me, happy to receive an activity I didn’t have to plan. The Children couldn’t wait to crack it open to see what our craft activity would be.

The box was beautifully packaged for about 5 seconds. It was like Christmas, layers of tissue paper flying through the air in anticipation. Our box was a craft box to make a Shadow Puppet Show.

The instruction book was filled with clear instructions, easy for a little reader. Max instructed me what extras we would need, scissors, glue, ruler, pencil.

We set to it.

Murray was excellent at making holes in the cardboard for the lights. Max enjoyed measuring and cutting. They worked wonderfully together designing the sign and little Murray held the tracing paper for Max as he cut. Broke.My.Heart.

There were parts that I alone did for them but, they didn’t mind. There was so much to do that they didn’t feel like I was ‘taking over’ which I think is the worst thing to do when crafting with children.

We worked for about 2 hours making our Shadow Puppet Show. The boys have since played with it, showed it off to their Grandparents and gained a real sense of achievement from making it.
