It’s hard to believe that this is Finlay’s 3rd trip to Singapore. Whilst it can be hard living so far away from family, an upshot is that we get to visit beautiful locations like this and spend some quality time together when we do see each other. Singapore is a city that we always look forward to visiting, as it’s the perfect destination for young families. There’s an endless list of things to do with kids and best of all, most of them are free!
One of our first places we like to visit is the water play over at the Gardens By The Bay, which also has an adventure park for both toddlers and big kids. I’ll share a proper post soon with the other water plays we visit whilst we’re here, but the Gardens By The Bay is a particularly good one.
Earlier in the week we managed to stop by Dempsey Hill. I could spend all day over at Dempsey, it has such a relaxed atmosphere and there are lots of lovely boutiques, restaurants and art galleries to visit. But as we had the littles in tow we found ourselves back at Go Go Bambini, a popular soft play place. A trip to Dempsey is never complete without a visit to Cuckoo Little Lifestyle Store, which stocks a beautiful selection of kids decor, clothes and toys. We finished off at one of our favourite Australian cafes, Jones The Grocer, where Finlay had his first ever chocolate milkshake (though half of it went down his front…)
In the late afternoon, the Botanics is where we love to head to. It’s such a magical place and we’re lucky enough that my parents live within walking distance. It’s such an easy way to let Finlay burn off some energy! After what’s felt like such a long and wet winter, we’ve loved being able to get back outdoors again and enjoy such a tropical setting – It’s one of the things that makes our visits here so special.
Outfits: Finlay’s wearing, a Nor-Folk tee, Agatha Cub shorts & cap, Lennon & Wolfe tee. Parker wears, Bobo Choses romper (old) & Tiny Cottons romper. My tee is from All Saints, Jack Wills shorts and Tiba & Marl Elwood bag.
