At Home Pamper Evening

Perfect Pamper Evening For Mums | Chalk Kids Blog

Taking a little time out to have a pampering evening every once in a while is a great way to re-charge and unwind. Once the littles are in bed, you can draw a long bubble bath, put on your favourite film and pull out your most cherished beauty products to help you pamper and relax.

Lighting a luxurious candle like Diptyque Baies whilst running a long bubble bath is the ultimate treat to help you de-stress and relax. Its fragrance fills the whole room with a divine scent of blackcurrant leaves and rose which helps to set you up for the perfect pampering evening.

An exfoliating body scrub like Soap and Glory Scrub ‘Em and Leave ‘Em leaves skin silky smooth. It contains exfoliating sea salt, moisturising jojoba and mandarin oils to help keep the skin feeling soft and supple. Afterwards, using a rich, nourishing body moisturiser like Origins Ginger Souffle Whipped Body Cream keeps skin unbelievably smooth and hydrated. It’s full of skin softening oils and has an invigorating, slightly sweet scent of spiced ginger which smells incredible and lingers on the skin for hours.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer is the perfect hair mask for silky soft tresses, applying it before you shampoo makes it effortless and fuss free, you can simply leave it to work on your hair whilst you unwind and then shampoo and rinse as normal.

A pampering evening is an ideal time to give yourself a manicure (see my DIY manicure post here). I like to indulge in a good film whilst applying a couple of coats of Essie Maximilian Strasse Her on my nails with Essie Rock At The Top as an accent nail for a pretty, long lasting colour.

For a cleansing facial treatment, Origins Clear Improvement Face Mask is an active charcoal mask that unclogs pores and helps to keep skin clear. It dries and sets on the skin so you can really feel it working, it’s great for stressed, dull skin that has been exposed to environmental pollutants.

Lastly, a few drops of Sanctuary Therapists Secret Facial Oil massaged onto your skin leaves it nourished, radiant and glowing. It’s a 99% organic, lightweight oil that’s rich in hydrating vitamin e, soothing frankincense and strengthening rosehip oil.

  • Gorgeous photo 🙂 I’m thinking of having a pamper evening tomorrow so I will definitely be getting my Origins Clear Improvement mask out. I definitely want to try the ginger range – I had a little sniff the other day and it seems heavenly! xx
