Central heating and harsh winter weather can leave skin feeling quite dry and dehydrated during the colder months. There are a few products that I like to add to my skincare routine during winter that really help to keep my skin and nails hydrated.
Nails – Essie apricot treatment cuticle oil really helps to keep nails and cuticles feeling strong and nourished throughout winter. The nail polish style bottle and brush makes it so quick and easy to apply and it smells delicious, like sweet apricots.
Skin – For dry and dehydrated skin, Origins Make a Difference Overnight Hydrating Repair Cream is great to use at night to help keep skin smooth and hydrated. It contains rose of Jericho, watermelon and rhodocrosite which help to lock in moisture and keep skin plump and supple. Once a week, a thick hydrating mask like Origins Drink up Intensive Mask will help to keep skin feeling soft and nourished. It works as an overnight mask and repairs the skins barrier which helps to prevent future dehydration.
Eyes – Eysilix eye cream contains 10 peptides which help to reduce puffiness and dark circles. It targets fine lines and keeps the eye area feeling soft and hydrated. I like to apply a small amount to the contours of my eyes at night for visible results the next day.
Lips – You only need to dab a small amount of Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm onto your lips at night to wake up with plump, soft hydrated lips. It smells like sweet citrus and honey and contains sweet almond oil, calendula, honey and shea butter which all help to deeply moisturise your lips.
