Starting a children’s line has been a dream of mine for several years now. I have always loved fashion, always loved art, and in becoming a mom, motherhood quickly rose to the top of my priority / passion list. As a new mom, I quickly found myself drawn toward children’s fashion and hoped that one day I could use my talents to create a line of my own. – Kelli Murray
As long time followers of Kelli Murray’s stunning blog, we were more than a little excited when she revealed that she’s been hard at work creating her first ever children’s line. For those who don’t know Kelli, she’s an illustrator, blogger, graphic designer and former fashion merchandiser. Her new label is named after and inspired by her own children, Rylee & Cru.
In Kelli’s own words, “Each piece is made up of a slub jersey fabrication and has gone through a garment dye process, which means they are pre-shrunk and have a super soft, vintage feel to them… Each print is hand illustrated or painted, a subtle mix of watercolor and line art.”
For the initial launch collection, Kelli’s also partnered up with Oh Cozy Knits for some limited edition knitwear (pom hats, pixies hats and tiny knit bloomers) that will be sold exclusively at Rylee & Cru.
Full of gorgeous soft muted tones, classic silhouettes and sweet prints like winking eyes, swans, arrows and foxes – Rylee & Cru is bound to appeal to style conscious mothers across the globe. You can shop the collection here.
