Rock’n Lullaby takes us to a magical world, making us overcome the classical view of the wardrobe for children, combining comfort with the concept of honour and maintaining the functionality of a garment designed for children.
I love picking outfits for my baby girl Coco and I’m always on the look out for pieces with a bit of an edge rather than your standard pinks and “I love mummy” motifs. With this Rock’n Lullaby teddybear babygrow I was drawn to the ruching and raw edges on the shoulders, plus I have a thing for bows so I loved the tartan bow detail on the front. The colour stood out for me too, I’d describe it as aubergine with dusky pink flecks.
But this babygrow isn’t just a stylish item – it’s also comfy and practical. The popper buttons on the shoulder and legs make it easy to put on and take off and quick to fasten. The material is soft on little one’s skin. It’s quite a thick material, ideal for winter.
My little girl is 5 months old, I decided to go for the 6-9 month size as I would class this as a luxury item, so I wanted her to get plenty of wear out of it. I rolled the legs and arms up and I actually liked that you could see the dusky pink of the inside.
Coco currently loves to roll from one side of the room to the other so the babygrow got a good road testing on her first wear of it. After washing it wasn’t creased so didn’t need ironing, a little time saving bonus! I love discovering new brands and I’ve now got my eye on their hooded knitted babygrow – the perfect winter warmer!
