We adore her effortless look – typically casual but with a rock or boho twist. A former model turned designer, Anine Bing is currently one of the biggest names in the fashion and blogging business. Oh and did we mention she’s in a rock band AND a proud mum of two?  Read some of our favourite Anine Bing quotes below:

On style changing after you become a mother: Just because you are a mom doesn’t mean your look has to be boring. If you like to dress simple like I do, then it is very important to pay attention to the details. Paint your nails; wear some beautiful jewellery or maybe a scarf or a handbag that add that little extra something to your look.

On what inspired her to start her clothing line: One day, I woke up and decided that I wanted to design my own pair of jeans, and did just that. Anine Bing started with skinny jeans, a couple of T-shirts and a leather jacket.

On her style: I’ve always been a jeans and T-shirt girl. I love the contrast between hard and soft, pretty and rock chic. It’s all about great quality with the perfect fit

Her favourite beauty products: I really love nail polish. I do my own nails since I don’t have the time to get them done, always black or dark colors. Red is also a color I keep coming back to. I also love my rose perfume from Jo Malone.

What inspires her: I collect inspiration from life, from stylish women I see on the street, in magazines and at the various flea markets I love to take my family to during the weekends. After I put the kids to bed, I sit down with my mood boards and compile my thoughts and ideas

Her style icon: I think Vanessa Paradise is sort of an icon to me. I love her French bohemian style and I am also a big fan of her music.

How Scandinavia has influenced her: I adopted a “simple way of thinking” from growing up in Denmark and Sweden… less is more!

Her best advice: Pay attention to everything you do. Every experience is relevant for what you’ll do in a later stage.
