Skin: If I’m getting ready in a hurry then I skip foundation all together and just use a brightening concealer where I need it the most which is normally under my eyes, on any blemishes and around my nose to cover any redness. If you have time, a foundation that also gives your skin a glow is perfect to give your skin radiance without the added step of highlighting. You only need one pump of the product to cover your whole face and then gently blend it in with clean hands. The warmth from your hands helps to blend the product perfectly and I always find that it’s quicker than using a brush.
Cheeks: Crayon style cheek products are so easy to use to give your cheeks a flush of colour, I swipe a line on each cheek and then blend out the edges with my ring finger or a blusher brush.
Eyes: Cream eyeshadow is perfect for quick application, it’s long lasting and you can get so many pretty colours in cream form now. Using your ring finger, pat a bit of the cream onto your lids and then blend out with your finger. For Mascara I like to use one that requires few coats to give me long lashes. L’oreal Miss Manga mascara is my current favourite to give me full fluttery lashes.
Lips: Soap and Glory a great kisser lip balm is one of the most conditioning lip balms that I’ve used. I love to use this to give a hint of colour whilst making sure that keep my lips stay in good condition.
– Cream products are great for quick application as they blend so easily with minimum effort.
– Crayons (Lip and Cheek) are also great for easy application and touch ups on the go.
– Clean Hands make great make up tools although it’s useful to keep a baby wipe close to wipe your hands on in between products if they really contrast in colour!
